LESLIE MANCUSO, PHD, RN, FAAN
Dr. Leslie Mancuso is president and CEO of Jhpiego, a JHU affiliate that
saves lives, improves health and transforms futures of women and
families. Since her arrival at Jhpiego in 2002, the organization’s budget
has grown from $5 million to as high as $400 million and the number of
programs expanded from 4 to 130 active awards. Mancuso, a nurse and
American Academy of Nursing Fellow, has over 25 years of experience in
developing public-private partnerships and is a recognized international
business leader with a track record of success in bringing new
innovations and navigating changes in the international nonprofit world.
She serves on numerous boards and has received many prestigious
professional awards, including Maryland’s 2021 Governor’s International
Leadership Award.
